SofaTown Designs Art Studio is me living the American Dream. Words can't begin to describe how fortunate I am to be able to create and make a living from my art. While sacrifices have been made to be able to do so, the rewards have been worth it.

Bachelor of Fine Arts degree was earned from Indiana State University, Terre Haute, Indiana. My major field of study was studio art and metalsmithing with a minor in art history. Upon graduation, I apprenticed as a bench jeweler and diamond setter to perfect my skills as a fine jeweler.

Most of my early work revolved around metalsmithing and jewelry design, including earrings, rings, brooches and bracelets. In 1996 I put my torch down and re-discovered the joy of working with semi-precious beads and pearls. I have since expanded my artistic endeavors to include the LIFE Series project, furniture re-design, painting and photography. I hope to add these endeavors to my website in the future.
