Red Elm Mirror
Red Elm Mirror was rescued from 'Granny's Attic' in Medaryville, Indiana.
'Granny' turned out to be an elderly man in his 80's who stayed in the back
room while I waded through the aisles of furniture and household goods.
Red Elm Mirror has been carved, painted and embellished with brass and
silver rivets.

Dimensions:  18" W x 40" H                                     Suggested retail:  $300.00
Eva
Eva was found at Joe's Used Furniture store in Lebanon, Indiana.  The
lighting was dim in this run-down building, and the smoky odor of the wood
burning stove was almost overwhelming!  I was delighted to find this piece
as it had simple lines and plain, smooth  surfaces to work with.  All four
sides of the tabletop feature glass knobs and keyholes, however, only one
hides a secret drawer.  I named this piece after my great-aunt Eva, as it
reminded me of her historic townhouse in Lafayette, Indiana.  The surfaces
are carved, painted and embellished with rivets and three old skeleton keys!

Dimensions:  12.5" x 12.5" x 26"H                           Suggested Retail:  $325.00
Carved Table
One day my neighbor set a Butler's Table outside with the rest of their trash.
Mysteriously, this sticker-covered, nondescript ugly duckling, made its way
into my studio late that night!  After considerable re-work, this table was
transformed with carvings, black paint with green overtones and brass and
silver rivets.  Sparky Cat is not included.

Dimensions: 17"H  x  29" W  x  21 " L                       Suggested retail:  $300.00
Sun Over Moon
Sun Over Moon was rescued from a thrift shop in Indianapolis, Indiana.  This
piece of furniture seemed perfect to try out some celestial images, using
enamel and acrylic paints.  Each shelf has been coated with polyurethane
finish to protect the designs.

Dimensions: 10" x 24" x 18"                                       Suggested retail:  $250.00
Junk Drawers
My friend Darlene bought a broken-down desk at an auction for its hardware
only and discarded the rest of it.  Although the desk itself wasn't salvageable,
the oak and veneer drawers still had a lot of character and were still in very
good condition.  Each drawer was carved, painted and embellished with
rivets and unique hardware.  Junk Drawers can be used to collect mail or
other miscellaneous objects, or as display shelving.

Dimensions: 17"H x 9 1/2" W x 5 1/4 " D                    Suggested retail:  $84.00
